Sultan Sabr founded Clarion Consulting after more than 15 years at the intersection of executive leadership, international business, academia, and strategic advisory.
As a founder and CEO, Sultan built and led businesses across multiple industries, closing commercial deals across multiple international markets and managing teams at scale. That experience gave him a ground-level understanding of what it actually takes to manage a business, including the operational complexity, the growth opportunities, the governance demands, the negotiation dynamics, and the leadership decisions that determine whether a strategy succeeds and endures. Sultan currently serves on multiple boards across business and technology sectors, and is affiliated with leading governance and professional bodies including the Institute of Directors, the Corporate Governance Institute, and the National Association of Corporate Governance.
Real consulting starts with honest diagnosis. The clarity comes after, and so does the impact.
Alongside his executive career, Sultan served as an Assistant Professor and Business Department Head. He holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and a Doctorate in Business Administration from Maastricht School of Management, with research focused on leadership identity in Saudi organizations. He successfully led his institution’s accreditation efforts and advised other organizations on accreditation and academic excellence, bringing the same rigor and structured thinking to institutional development that he brings to every client engagement.
Beyond the classroom and boardroom, Sultan advised organizations through complex strategic transitions, contributed to research on leadership and governance in the Saudi context, and participated as a judge and mentor in entrepreneurship forums including the MIT Enterprise Forum, Rotman Connect, and Mntrni. Sultan invested in the next generation of Saudi business leaders through teaching, mentoring, and outreach.
Driven by a clear conviction, he established Clarion to make his extensive executive and academic experience directly accessible to Saudi business leaders, and to deliver the kind of consulting that creates lasting impact. At Clarion, clarity is not a byproduct. It is the discipline that drives every engagement, every recommendation, and every outcome.
